  • Is it difficult to install the socket?
  • Easy peasy! It’s installed in just a few easy steps – see our Tutorial page or the Suck It Socket product page .
  • What do I need to install the socket in a mask?
  • Got a marker? A pair of scissors? That’s all you need.
  • Can I transfer it from one mask to another?
  • You can and you should. It’s done very easily. Just unscrew it from one mask and screw into another.
  • Does the Suck It Socket come already installed in a mask?
  • We gotcha covered. We offer the Suck It Socket both on its own for you to put into a mask you already have or pre-installed into one of our masks.
  • Will putting the Suck It Socket in my mask ruin it?
  • It will change it. Not ruin it. You will need to cut a hole in your mask in order to fasten the Suck It Socket onto it. This will be a permanent change to your mask.
  • Will the Suck It Socket prevent me from getting COVID?
  • The Suck It Socket is a device that will allow you to drink a beverage without taking your mask off.  It’s as helpful as any mask with regard to helping deter COVID infection. We, however, make no claims that this will prevent you from getting COVID.
  • What’s the socket made from?
  • Great question! The socket consists of two types of BPA free FDA approved plastic: polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
  • Is the Suck It Socket BPA-free?
  • Yes. Yes. Yes.
  • Can I securely close the socket when it’s not being used?
  • Sure enough! Just push in the cap attached to the socket to close the device securely. That doesn’t suck now, does it?
  • Do I need a straw to drink with my socket mask?
  • Yes, unless you want to get wet. We provide a compostable straw with every purchase for immediate gratification. You can also buy a metal straw set from us here
  • What types of masks can I install the socket on?
  • Most common everyday masks. Specifically, the socket can be installed in any woven (non-stretchy) cloth or paper mask.
  • My Suck It Socket product isn't working for me, can I return it?
  • Yes!  We want you to be happy with your purchase.  We have a 30 day return policy which can be viewed here.
  • Do the sockets and masks come in a variety of colors?
  • We want you to suck with style. Our sockets come in black and white and the Suck It Socket mask comes in solid colors, plaid and various patterns. See the variety of styles to choose from in our store.
  • Are your masks available in different sizes?
  • Yup! We have sizes for kids, tweens and teenagers/adults.
  • Do you sell accessories for the Suck It Socket and socket mask?
  • Check ‘em out! Accessories available for purchase through The Suck It Socket include a reusable steel stainless straw set for $12.95, and an adjustable mask lanyard to attach to your mask for added convenience and comfort for just $2.99.
  • I'm not receiving confirmation emails from you when I make a purchase, what can I do about that?
  • Some email servers automatically and annoyingly put our emails in your junk or spam folder (we're looking at you Outlook).  In order to ensure that our email gets straight to your inbox, add info@suckitsocket to your list of contacts.
  • Is it ‘Suckit Socket’ or ‘Suck It Socket’?
  • It was a hard decision to make, but we decided to go with Suck It Socket as we though it looked better that way. But we won't get mad atcha if you write it the other way.
